Her life was turned upside down because she didn't report to the principle that she brought her prescription meds to school.
There are many examples of police arresting small children and charging them with crimes in school for doing things like shooting spit-balls.
Here's an example of a cop in school doing what cops love to do: beat on people every chance they can get:
